I watched a video of this place from Bon Appetit on YouTube so I figured I would check it out! I started off with Burrata with Prosciutto, for my second course I had there Uovo Raviolo with White Truffle & Asparagus Puree. The last course I ordered there Cappelletti verdi with roasted, sauteed leeks & black mushroom puree. Very impressed with everything and my server Sierra was very attentive. Highly recommend this place, you will not be disappointed!
A wonderful pasta forward restaurant that's one of the better ones in nyc. Had the vegetarian pasta tasting menu. All five courses were delicious. The gnocchi in a tomato based sauce was my favorite. Also a truffle gnuddi was amazing. The cacio E peppe salad was also excellent. One of the best tiramisu I've ever had and delicious Gelato. Service is outstanding.
Tried several dishes and all were great. The uovo raviolo was delicious as were the other two pasta dishes. The appetizers were unique like the fried gnoccho, I didn't expect fried dough with sliced meats on top but non the less it was one of the best dishes. We had the ribeye and three of us shared it. It was served family style and cooked beautifully. Olive oil cake was a must try to finish off the meal. The service was very good as you would expect from a high end restaurant and the decor was simple but that's adds to the comfortable atmosphere of the restaurant.
Absolutely phenomenal! Rezdora served the best Italian food I’ve ever had in the U.S. – hands down. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavor, but the real standout was the Gramigna Giallo E Verde. The pasta was perfectly al dente, rich, and deeply satisfying – truly unforgettable. The quality, authenticity, and creativity in each dish made this a top-tier dining experience. I can’t wait to come back.
Excellent execution on all items. Very authentic Emilia Romagna food! The menu is meant to be ordered the Italian way - starting with the antipasti then primi then secondi. If you just order a pasta you will be disappointed. We started with the mozzarella di bufala DOP (8/10) and garlic bread (8.5/10), gnocco fritto (really amazing) (9/10) and worked our way to two primi pastas - gramigna giallo e verde (8/10) and also tried the grandma walking through the forest with Emilia ( creative and well crafted but wasn’t my flavor profile very creamy and heavy 6/10) and ended with cow grazing in Emilia romagna (9/10) and the black bass (felt over cooked and too greasy /salty 4/10) and the sunchoke millefoglie (8/10). We were very full by the end. Could’ve skipped out on one secondi - prob shared the steak between the two of us and that would have been perfect. Very lively for a Monday night crowd even at 10pm! Would come back again with friends. Came back for brunch with a friend! Delicious as always. Shared the straciatella and beans/ramps and we each had the gramigna. So delicious. Having actually visited the Emilia Romana region, I will say Rezdora captures the essence of the food there very well.
We did the pasta tasting menu. The portions are indeed small,. However it set you up for a great experience. The staff were very attentive and knowledgeable of the pasta and dishes. I would have loved to see the portions for the tasting a little bigger for the price.
Rezdora offers an exceptional pasta tasting menu, featuring five pasta course for 98--absolutely worth it. Each pasta is cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. Be sure to order the Affettati Misti; it's some of the best prosciutto I've ever tasted. The cocktails are well-made, and the wine selection is extensive, making it an ideal spot for date night. I'd love to return to explore more of the menu!
Rezdora, located in the Lower East Side, offers an authentic Italian dining experience that highlights the essence of regional flavors with refined execution. Opting for the lunch a la carte menu, I followed the thoughtful recommendations of the attentive staff, which set the tone for a memorable meal. The meal began with the Gnocco Fritto, a standout hot appetizer. The delicate, airy dough was perfectly fried, providing a soft yet crisp bite, topped with silky, high-quality prosciutto that elevated its simple elegance. For the pasta course, the Gramigna Giallo e Verde was a true highlight. The pasta boasted a firm, satisfying texture—cooked al dente to perfection—paired with a rich, well-balanced ragu sauce that was deeply flavorful without overpowering the dish. The entree, a pan-seared striped bass, was equally impressive. The fish was beautifully seared with a tender, flaky interior, demonstrating both precision and restraint in its preparation. To finish, the olive oil cake—Rezdora’s signature dessert—was a must-try. Moist, fragrant, and subtly sweet, it was a perfect end to the meal, living up to its reputation. Rezdora succeeds in delivering a thoughtful and authentic Italian experience, where each dish reflects care, tradition, and a modern touch.
